Vrai Wedding Glen & Michelle

This couple was super cute together and a fun match. I loved seeing their love for eachother, which could be so clearly seen in a glance, but mostly in the fact that they just purely had fun together.

A Trash the Dress session for the best of friends

Tara and Priyanka headed spent the morning with me before they headed to prom on a beautiful boat in the city. They looked amazing, props to Mis Anna my make up artist! I totally felt like I was hanging out with Liv Tyler, and Priayanka had Princess Jasmine eyes. I was so glad to have fun with them before they went out for a moonlight boat ride under the stars, I can't wait to hear all about it!

Oswego East High School's performance of Les Miserables

Truly, this was a huge highlight for me this year. I was super lucky to get an all access pass to document this awesome production, and to hang out with these super talented students. They are awesome, and they know it! I really want to thank Brian and Jamie Fruits for letting me hang out. I have never seen an entire cast and crew have so much respect and admiration for a director. I also so moved by how tight this cast was, and how they worked perfectly together as a team, and supported each other.

Thank you so much, you guy's are the best!

Hinsdale Centrals First Ever Red Devil 5K Fun Run & Walk

A couple Sunday's ago, I got up pretty early and drove down to Hinsdale Central's  First Ever Red Devil 5K Fun Run & Walk. It was a beautiful morning as you can see the sky is so gorgeous, and it was so fun to see people participating together. Thanks to Rick Lapinski for all the work he put into the event to make it so organized and fun. I look forward to being there next year!

Youth Art Festival 2008

On April 19th, the College Church hosted it's first ever Youth Art Festival. Jonathan Cummings, the college church youth pastor and his staff, put a ton of work into event, and it was a huge success. There was live ceramic throwing, lice drawing by Timothy Botts, dancing and music performances. It was an awesome time, i loved meeting everyone and taking some really fun portraits!

Another fun wedding

We had such a fun wedding this weekend with an awesome couple, whose love for each other inspired me.

Amy's senior model shoot

My session with Amy was so inspirational to me. It was awesome to see Amy really become alive in front of the camera and discover so many sides of her personality. While Anna did Amy's second look of make up, I sat and talked with Amy. (while peeking at some of my shots) Amy is such a strong girl, she runs track, plays basketball, and I loved hearing about the quality time that she and her family spends doing activities together. We talked about how our session brought out a side of her, she didn't normally see, and how that discovery was so important at this point in her life, especially as she embarks upon her senior year and all big things that will happen. Both Anna and I adored Amy and the chance to really hang out with her and make some amazing images. My time with her was so inspiring, and truly I felt that afternoon - this is why I do, what I do.
