My Cousin Andrew's Band DEJA VU

My Awesome English cousin in law married my cousin Amy after a friend of her's met Andrew in a bar, had a chat with him and set him up with Amy via email. He moved here, and the rest is history. Isn't it the best story.

Andrew invited me out to see his band this weekend and I was so excited to finally be there! I think we've been talking about this for years! Check em out!

Watching for Planes

One Beautiful Weekend in February, my family and I went over to D.C. to celebrate Ray's life and legacy, with all people he worked with on the Hill. It was such a nice celebration, and a great time to hear stories about our lives with him. Just like this little moment in the airport, some things are still as timeless as children watching for planes. Our memories with Ray are precious and sweet.

Emma Hope

Sometimes you Hope for things in life. And then if your faithful and allow preparation to meet opportunity then they happen. In this case, it was a little baby girl.

My sister Katy and her husband Brent (Childhood friends whom I reunited when I threw a big party in '06)
brought into the world, precious, perfect... Emma.

My fourth niece! I guess we only make girls in this family I come from. :)

Emma was born unto this great and beautiful earth a week after we lost my other sister's husband Ray. Perhaps these two collided in heaven. I would like to think they did.

Announcing Announcements

For a long time it's been a dream of mine to have a line of cards. I'd really love to have a Hallmark line, in fact it's still a goal of mine. But in the meantime, I have an MGP line of cards, that I am loving. I wrote all the sayings, too. When the designer brought them over I kept saying, "wow, I love this sayings" and she said, "well you wrote them" - which I did, but I had written them so long ago, they sounded so good I didn't recognize them.

Busy Bee's

I've been busy here at the studio, making Coffee Table Books & Signature Books for the 2009 Seniors. It's been FUN! Check them out in the new gallery under Products, and Books & Products.
Yay!

Wheaton North Puts on Grease - Gallery under Proofs

I love Spring!! As a former theater girl, there is a point in Spring, right before Spring Break when I can just tell it's musical time. And as a former Wheaton North girl it was super fun to go back to that theater... it still smells the same! Memories...

Wheaton North put on Grease! Wow, what a fun show, and definitely a girls dream. Kirsten and Tierra, senior girls I photographed this year were in the show, so it was so fun to see them in action. This was a great show for big, band song, cute duets, rocker rock outs, pink hair, a couple of fights, and some great red heels. Such a fun show! Go See it this Friday or Saturday at Wheaton North.
