Chesleigh's Gwen session was perfect for her, because she got to add her favorite people, her sweet sisters and brothers. Plus Chesleigh's Trash the Dress session rocked with the super hot lighting, from my new gear, and we took it easy on the dresses this time and didn't really trash em. You can tell by this first picture, Chesleigh is the best big sister, what a sweet moment!
So once we heard that Jessica, had a strong affection for France, we first picked a spot that was like the fields of lavender in France. I love the one of her and the one flower. Beautiful, and totally different. Then her second make up look, Anna ( my lovely make - up artist ) did the very slicked back, pulled together look. Jessica looked very Gwyneth Paltrow. Wow, and Jessica's eyes are the most amazing color of blue
Amanda did amazing! I loved her super cute style and skirts. Mostly, I loved her personality and her sense of calm confidence, which gave my pictures life and spirit. This session was super special because I got to use my all amazing new lighting set up, I couldn't have done it with out the help of Victoria, my assistant for the day!
I loved hanging out with Tierra and her friend Jackie Wednesday morning. What cute girls. Tierra rocked her session, perfect check bones, don't you think?! And I look forward to having Jackie in the Fall for her session!
I so enjoyed spending time with Nicole and her mom. I loved Nicole's beautiful smile and her dimples. I loved her classic clothes. My favorite shot is the black and white close up of her eyes, amazing!!! AND loved the we both got into a bit of the water in a brook with her dress, all very very worth it. Nicole was a happy girl, and so was I. Super fun!
I had so much fun with Hayle and her mom Vicki. Hayle is a beautiful strong girl, with lots of determination and I definitely saw that. While at the Arboretum, we just happened upon a row of boots left over from a kids camp they'd had that morning. Hayle just hopped in em, and rocked em. They totally fit with her look and style. And I had personally been dying to do a shoot with boots like these. Next time I want to have a girl in a big dress and boots like these :) hint hint girls.
My Life is my art, continually in the making. I am inspired by what I do, inspired by the people I meet, and I feel blessed to be there in the moment when their beauty reaches out and touches me, encourages me, to live my best life and to follow my dreams. I have the grounding and the smarts of a girl from the midwest but my soul and my birth certificate are stamped in the south.
