Alison - is beautiful

Alison had the first session since my recent studio move to Naperville two weeks ago. And since then Alison is now off to college - she did her senior pictures the summer after graduation - which is a great idea, and I find every year I have a couple of seniors that do that. I know that Alison's mom will be missing her so much now, so I know that this will be so nice for her mom to take a peek at the blog to see her beautiful girl. I love the brick, and the fun window light in these pictures, it perfectly went with her clothes. Also Alison had a fun trip to Paris this summer and so the scarf she is wearing is something special from her trip. The funnest thing about this session, was just grabbing that quick shot of Alison's lips, and seriously it made me do a double take -because for a minute there, it looked like my lips. It was super fun for us to be identical lips sisters. Alison, you are going to have a blast at school! You are awesome!

Britt & Jerrry

I had so much fun with Britt and Jerry and their adorable kids this past weekend. I love Brits smile in this first picture, it's such a sign of being in love. What a lucky couple, their wedding will be a blast!

Gabrielle took her Gwen Session to new heights in her hammock

Doesn't Gabrielle, look like Demi Moore, especially in this first picture. She is goregous. I loved meeting and hanging out with Gabrielle, she has such a strong sense of self, and natural confidence and love for life. I love her self respect and boundaries for things that in the end don't matter. I love that she adores her favorite band The Used and had to get a pic in their t-shirt. Her trash the dress session worked perfectly in her backyard, and the hammock picture is a favorite of mine for sure. It was a great day!

Marcelle was fabulous in her fashionista session

What Anna and I first noticed about Marcelle was her organization, she was excited about this session and you could tell she had thought about what she wanted from it. I can see Marcelle working on Capital Hill in D.C. doing some amazing things! We loved her! Loved her kindness, loved her cute bond hair, and blue eyes. Her session was amazing, I love the flower shot, there is just life there, an everyday blissful moment, don't you wonder what cute thing she's looking back at? We left it up to your imagination. :)

Aubrey was absolutely gorgeous

Aubrey was absolutely gorgeous for her Sofia session. I love this shot of her getting all pretty. (check out those eyelashes would you) Amazing. I loved Aubrey's look, the red curly hair, her skin tone, but I what I loved most was watching her sparkle, Aubrey was having fun and you could tell. I Loved it, and she loved it. Together we had such a fun time. Props to Anna! Another amazing job, Aubrey loved her and as do I! I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this is why I do what I do, it is awesome to spend an afternoon with someone as unique and gifted as Aubrey, and I love pointing out to her all the amazing parts about her look, her style, her personality, and seeing her sparkle. Such a great girl, the world better be ready!

Dancing Swan Lake in a Forest

My session with Ashley was my first experience photographing a ballerina. Ashley is a real life Ballarina, with perfect posture and form. It was awesome to have such a beautiful Ballarina in such a organic and rustic space, and awesome to see the gorgeous white against a clear blue sky. What an amazing opportunity I had to photograph her, and let me just say Ashley's future is wide open with so many opportunity's to use her gift, I can't wait to see where her point shoes will take her! 

Rachel is a classic beauty

Rachel and I had a super fun session, at Cantigny. It was fun hanging out with her and her mom and getting some fun stuff on a hot day!
